To find the area of a rhombus you will use the same formula as the area of a parallelogram, base*height. Since all the sides share the same length then any side will be the length of the base. The height can be figured by intersecting any two parallel lines with a line perpendicular to the sides. If the rhombus has 4 right angles then it would be a square. The base and the height would be the same for a square so you would just multiply the length of any side times itself.
