About

CalculateWhat.com is a free website about helping the Internet community with calculating anything and everything under the sun. This site was originally started by a group of friends who often found themselves using various websites to run math calculations. After years and years of using online calculators, we finally decided that there was a large void on the Internet which was missing a free, easy to use, and high quality web based calculator website.

All of our online calculators are written in HTML and JavaScript, with the exception of our Currency Conversion calculators, which are two widely accepted standards in web browsing. You will not need any fancy plug-ins or additional add-ons to use any of the calculators found on our site. This website should be fully compliant with any number of the industries leading web browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Camino, and Netscape. All of the calculators on this website feature two easy to use buttons, seen below, Calculate and Clear:

We hope to eventually build CalculateWhat.com into an educational and informative web based community. For this reason, we are very interested in hearing your thoughts, suggestions, problems, and/or calculator requests. Additionally, we eventually plan on launching a member’s forum to spark useful conversations and discussions amongst site members to help with all things calculations. If you would like to contact us, please use the Suggest Ideas/Contact link in the site header.
